Sushill Waddhwa is a legend of the global luxury events, destination weddings and hospitality industry, with an experience of 35 years - and one of the most well-travelled and well-connected figures in the business.
A founder, deal-maker and industry advisor, Sushill built Platinum World Grroup from a single-office events company in 2002 into a multi-division global platform with an associate network spanning 500+ destinations across 100+ countries.
His work sits at the intersection of three worlds: the wedding and events industry, the luxury hospitality sector and high-value cross-border business. He has personally overseen the delivery of thousands of events across 81 countries, advised tourism boards and hotel groups on their weddings and celebrations strategy and served on the Asia Pacific MICE Advisory Board of Starwood Hotels & Resorts.
Sushill has stayed at 1,500+ luxury properties across 600+ destinations - giving him an unparalleled ground-level understanding of what it takes to execute flawlessly at each. This experiential depth, combined with decades of industry relationships, is the foundation of PWG's value as a trade partner.
He is a keynote speaker at global hospitality and events industry conferences and a media contributor on luxury travel and destination weddings.
His current focus is on expanding PWG's B2B trade enablement and representation model globally - working with luxury hotels, iconic venues and tourism boards to capture a larger share of the fast-growing Indian and GCC wedding and celebrations market.
